November 23, 2009 – There is no need to fear this fro ! Alex Cuba brought his fantastic blend of Cuban Soul Rock to Windsor, playing at The Blind Dog concert hall. An intimate setting along with a great three piece ensemble had people dancing in the aisles.
November 20, 2009 - The Brian Setzer Orchestra, kicking off their annual holiday themed tour, played to a packed house at The Sound Board, inside Detroit’s MotorCity Casino. Mixing up rockabilly with Christmas tunes and some Stray Cats favorites had the crowd on their feet.

November 19, 2009 – Joe Perry, legendary guitarist best know for his work with Aerosmith, performed at Caesars Windsor tonight fronting his own band The Joe Perry Project. Formed back in the early 80’s when Aerosmith went through its first hiatus, Joe’s solo work has been back in the spotlight as Aerosmith seems to mull its future. The spotlight at tonight’s performance was literally on Joe as well as singer Hagen Grohe.
November 14, 2009 – American Idol winner David Cook played at Caesars Windsor last night, bringing his talents to the stage on what is the last leg of a monster tour. Always a pleasure shooting at Caesars with their massive lighting rig.
November 6, 2009 – It was an amazing experience being able to shoot one of my favorite bands, The Cult. Ian Astbury, Billy Duffy, Chris Wyse, Mike Dimkich, and John Tempesta were together a dream to listen to and to photograph. The lighting was moody, with lots of backlight and some dark blue spots on Ian.

November 1, 2009 – Papa Roach rocked the Fillmore last night. Front man Jacoby Shaddix was quite the moving target as he covered every inch of the stage, which combined with frequent crowd surfers made for an exciting shoot.
October 31, 2009 – For something a little different, I had the chance to photograph Robin Williams last night, who performed his stand up routine at The Sound Board, inside the MotorCity Casino in Detroit. I’ve never shot a comedian before, so going through the shots it became apparent that if you don’t know Robin Williams you might think he was a motivational speaker judging by his many expressions and body language. With only five minutes to shoot, the challenge was to make sure I got all of his comedic contortions. A fun time.
October 24, 2009 – Jazz guitar legend, George Benson, played at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit this past weekend. This gig was a commission from Ibanez Guitars who needed some new photos for their upcoming catalogue.
October 25, 2009 – Kelly Clarkson played to a largely teenage crowd at The Fox Theatre here in Detroit this evening.
October 21, 2009 – As part of their co-headlining “Metalocalypse” tour with Dethklok, Mastodon played at the Fillmore last night here in Detroit.
October 5, 2009 – Living Things is currently touring with The Bravery, and I had the pleasure of catching their set last week at St. Andrews hall in Detroit.
October 11, 2009 – Performing a sold out show last night at The Fillmore Detroit was Paramore, led by the energetic Haley Williams.
October 10, 2009 – The King of Blues, the great BB King, performed with his band at The Sound Board, inside MotorCity Casino, last night. The living legend delighted fans with a mix of great blues classics and stories from Mr. King’s many adventures on the road.
October 5, 2009 – After touring as a supporting act for Green Day earlier this summer, The Bravery are currently headlining a new US tour of smaller venues to promote their forthcoming album, Stir The Blood.
